Steve Alan Trail, 62, of Green Sulphur Springs entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness.
Born March 7, 1956 at Summers County he was a son of the late Harvey Saul and Nina Sue Burdette Trail.
Steve was a construction worker who enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the United States Navy.
Steve was preceded in death by one son, Greg Scott Adkins; three brothers, Bobby, Jimmy and Rusty Trail and two infant sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 38 years, Violet Marie Trail at home; one son, Shawn Trail and companion Amanda Jolliffe of Hinton; one daughter, Victoria Marie Brown and husband Steven of Hix; six grandchildren, Leslie Trail, Tyler Cool, Dylan and Cheyanne Cales, Harley Brown and Ethan Brown; two brothers, Butch Trail and Gary Trail; five sisters, Gaythalee Skaggs, Jean Sifers, Sandra Carter, Marie Williams and Debra Haynes.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Jackie Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Halliden Cemetery at Lick Creek. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral parlors.
Pallbearers will be Leslie Trail, Tyler Cool, Steven Brown, Canyon Haynes, Bobby Adkins, Dean Sifers and Paul Bragg.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
