Susie Gladys Underwood

Susie Gladys Underwood, 39, of Oak Hill went home to be with the Lord Friday, November 29, 2024 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.

 Born October 7, 1985 at Hinton she was a daughter of the late Betty Lou Taylor Carter.

 Susie was a graduate of WV Secondary School for Deaf and Blind at Romney, WV. She was very energetic, she loved life and never met a stranger.

 Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Underwood and her grandmother and former caregiver, Kathleen Bobring.

 Those left to cherish her memory include the Department of Health and Human Services; her respite care workers at ResCare; one sister, April Taylor; several aunts and uncles and the caring staff at Bowers Hospice House.

 Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Friday at the funeral parlors. Friends will serve as pallbearers.
