Syble Maxine Moye Lilly, 84, of Ellison passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at the home of Deborah Cline at Lerona.
Born February 26, 1929 at Dunns, WV she was a daughter of the late James E. and Ethel E. Meador Moye.
Syble was a graduate of Spanishburg High School and a member of the Ellison Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dempsey Lilly in November 2010, four sisters and six brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Bobby Lilly and wife Bonnie of Nimitz and Michael Lilly of Ellison; two grandchildren, Erika Lilly of Charleston and Katie Lilly and husband Luke of Nimitz and one sister, Betty Cox of Shady Spring.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly Family Cemetery at Ellison. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Friday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to give special thanks to Debbie Cline and staff of Granny Deb's for the excellent care provided for Maxine.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Mercer County Hospice, 1033 Stafford Dr., Princeton, WV 24740.
