Sylvia Gore

Sylvia Holbrook Gore, of Godby St., Logan, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2005 at the CAMC Memorial Division at Charleston. Born at Whitman, she was the daughter of the late Caleb and Nannie May Holbrook. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Gore, five sisters; Rouie Sperry, Shirley Kitchen, Verdie Reynolds, Georgie Hobbs, and Mary Holbrook and three brothers, James, Charles, and Albert Holbrook. Survived by one daughter, Kimberlee Dawn Rivers and Husband Derrick of FL, one son, Randall Gore and wife Mary of NC, one sister, Katherine Dempsey and husband Jasper of Whitman, a special niece and caregiver, Brenda Gullett of Chapmanville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlor from 12:30 until funeral time on Wednesday.
