Tammy Lynn Bennett Mongeni, 54, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 27, 2016 following a long illness. Born May 9, 1962 in Hinton she was the daughter of Meridith "Big Boy" and Frieda Wills Bennett. Tammy was a proud, loving mother and a member of Central Baptist Church in Hinton. She spent most of her life taking care of others working as a caregiver.
Preceded in death by a niece, Karen Sue Bennett.
Besides her parents those left to cherish her memory include her son, Randy Johnson of Mullens; husband, Mark Mongeni of Mullens; four siblings, Sue Bennett and husband William of Jumping Branch, Audrey Dzik of White Oak, Meridith "Junior" Bennett and wife Rainelle of Nimitz and Kay Bennett and husband Aaron Lasley of Beech Run; nieces and nephews, William "Junior" Bennett of Ballengee, Andrea "Leigh Ann" Yancey of South Carolina, Terra Bennett of Princeton, Trey Bennett of Nimitz, Tucker Bennett of Nimitz and Caden Lasley of Beech Run and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, October 31, 2016 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until service time on Monday at the funeral parlors.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations of sympathy be made in memory of Tammy to the Central Baptist Church, P.O. Box 492 Hinton, WV 25951.
