Teddy K. Willey Jr., 63, of Ramp went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at his home following a long illness.
Born March 2, 1959 at Hinton he was the son of the Patricia A. Johnson Willey and the late Teddy K. Willey Sr. A member of the Ramp Holiness Church. He spent almost 20 years underground in the coal mines and became proficient in carpentry and computers. He retired as Safety and Security Officer at Dartmouth College protecting Dartmouth students and visitors wellbeing for over 20 yrs. He was a member of Lebanon Outing Club, Sons of the American Legion, SEIU Local 560 Union and received Lebanon New Hampshire’s Best Citizen Volunteer Award. He loved the Great Outdoors whether it was muzzle loading, fishing, kayaking or just walking through the woods gathering Moose Antlers. He loved to ride his motorcycle all over God’s beautiful country, from the Mountains to the beaches and everything in between. Staying in motels, hotels but his favorite unstrapping his roll out mat and sleeping in nature for the night til the sunrise and then on the road again. Everyone he ever met along the way got his full respect and attention and he made so many lasting friendships.
Preceded in death by one brother, James E. Willey.
Besides his mother those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Jessica Willey; one sister, Evelyn Willey Walker; loving companion, Lesia Vorachak and several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends whom he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the Ramp Holiness Church with Pastor Felix Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Dick Family Cemetery at Ramp. Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of the services on Tuesday at the church.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
