Thelma Grace Furrow Johnson, 83 of True, WV, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at her home.
Born June 22, 1930 at Pluto, WV, she a daughter of the late Garvey and Nona Bennett Furrow.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Johnson; one sister, Dorothy Lindsay; three brothers, Dewey, Johnny and Emmett Furrow, Sr.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Johnson of True; three grandchildren, Alan, Krista and Erik Bennett; one great grandchild; one sister, Leoma Tyler of Centerville, VA; one brother, Franklin Furrow of Richmond, VA; four sister in laws, Eloise Furrow of Hinton, Margaret Furrow of Marie, Peggy Furrow of Winston-Salem, NC and Nancy Johnson of Hinton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2013 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Reverend Tommy Mounts officiating. Burial will follow at Restwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until time of services.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
