Theressa Ann Dancy, 65, of Warren, MI formerly of Ghent passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 in Detroit, MI following a long illness.
Born April 10, 1950 in Dickenson Co., VA she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Margie Agnus Edwards Vest.
She was a former car salesman and business lady who enjoyed music, dancing, family gatherings, and especially her grandson.
Theressa is preceded in death by her brother Dean Vest.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Bobby Dancy and wife Toya of MI; one grandson, Collin Dancy of MI; her companion, Bill Weatherford; siblings, Norma Riehl of MI, David Fitzgerald of FL, Connie Eisler and husband Ray, Sue Perrigan, Curtis Ray Vest, Arlie Vest and wife Renae, Brenda Burns, Denise Nowack and companion Bob Wolfe, Nina Meadows all of MI, and Earl Vest of Hinton; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly also survive.
Graveside services and burial will be held 11:30 A.M. Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Vest Family Cemetery in Jumping Branch with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
