Thomas David Cox Sr. 61 of Daniels, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 4th, 2012, following a long illness.
Born July 24, 1951 at Ellison, WV, he was the son of Luther Thomas Cox of Ghent and the late Imogene Basham Cox.
Thomas proudly served his country with the U. S. Army during the Viet Nam Conflict.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Trina Jo Cox of Daniels, two sons, Thomas David Cox Jr. of White Oak, and Jonathan Andrew Cox of Daniels, a daughter, Melissa LaDawn Lusk of Beaver, three grandchildren, Christopher Donaven Lusk, Robert Tyler Lusk and Elexis Nichole Lusk all of Beaver, one sister, Lena Sue Pauley and husband Charles of Saltsville VA, two nephews, Thomas Norwood Dickerson and Richard Perry Dickerson and one niece, Pamela Dawn Steiding.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.m. Thursday at the Glen Morgan Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ernie Moye Officiating. Burial will follow in the Tom Lilly Cemetery at Ghent. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers: Richard Dickerson, Thomas Dickerson, Michael Chambers, Roger Lusk, Charles Pauley, Warney Shrewsberry, Nate Steiding and Zach Steiding.
