Thomas Edwards

Thomas Wayne Edwards, 49, of Cool Ridge, formerly of Pipestem, departed this life for his heavenly home Monday morning July 7, 2008 at his home. Born February 22, 1959 at Hinton, he was the son of Orpha I. Wills Young Singleton and husband Bill of Bluefield and Ethan Paul Edwards and his wife of Wallbridge, OH. Thomas was a carpenter working for Maddy Construction Co. in Raleigh Co. Preceded in death his maternal grandparents, Lacy and Lillie Wills and his paternal grandfather, Bee Edwards. Besides his parents Thomas is survived by, two sons, Joshua Edwards and wife Mindy of Oregon, OH and Michael Edwards of Oregon, OH; one granddaughter, Aurora Maria Edwards of Oregon, OH; paternal grandmother, Mae Lowe Edwards of True; one brother, Billy Paul Bennett of Orlando, FL; one step-brother, Billy Singleton and wife Michelle of Orlando, FL; two half brothers and one half sister all of Ohio; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 11, 2008 at the New Salem United Methodist Church on Route 20 near Princeton with Pastor Michael Smith officiating. In keeping with Tomâ??s request his body was cremated. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
