Thomas Estel Richmond, 42, of Ballengee went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 8, 2009 following a sudden illness.
Born March 8, 1967 at Hinton he was a son of the late Estel Howard and Nancy Lee Webb Richmond. A 1985 graduate of Union High School he was employed by Tom Nelson at Brookefield Farms at Lowell and attended the Trinity United Methodist Church at Talcott, Tom was an avid woodworker who loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by two sisters, Debra Lynn Richmond and Shirley Joe Fox.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 11 years, Michelle Talbott Richmond of Ballengee; one daughter, Kimberly Cales and husband James ?Jay? of Clayton; two grandchildren, Rachel and Lillian Cales of Clayton; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Kay Talbott of Talcott; two brothers, Roger Dale Richmond and wife Betty of Ballengee and Freddy Ray Richmond of Ballengee; two sisters, Glenna Jane Marlowe and husband John of Williamsburg, VA and Adena Faye Richmond of Ballengee; six nieces and nephews, Kandi, David, Cassidy, Skyler, Alex and Angel and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Sam Haught and Bob Talbott officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Ballengee. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Saturday at the Funeral Parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
