Tommy Lowe

Tommy Jayne Lowe 83, of Gum Spring, VA formerly of Forest Hill passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the home of her daughter following a long illness.
Born April 30, 1927 in Keystone, WV she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Kenova Witt. Mrs. Lowe was a retired public servant for the State of West Virginia. She was involved in many civic and community activities in her beloved Hinton, WV. She was a previous member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Forest Hill, WV and a member of the Goochland Baptist Church in Manaken, VA.
Mrs. Lowe enjoyed reading, cooking, playing bridge and spending time with her family and her 4-legged friend, Lucy.
Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lee Lowe Jr. and two sisters, Bea Vannater and Francis Mays.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kathryn Lowe Eaton and husband Stephen of Gum Springs, VA; five nephews, Randy Mays, Danny Mays, Wayne Dillon, Jerry Underwood and Joey Underwood; five nieces, Peggy Mick, Rosemary Lawson, Sandra Meadows, Susan Griften and Janet Aurentz.
The family invites you to visit and celebrate Mrs. Lowe?s life. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Ronald L. Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery at Forest Hill. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
