Tommy W. Stennett

 Tommy W. Stennett, 76, of Nimitz, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday December 25, 2024, at Summers Healthcare Center following a long illness.

 Born January 26, 1948, at Hinton he was the son of the late Carl Wallingford and Daphna Nell Shifflette Stennett. Retired employee for the WV Department of Highways, he loved camping, Nascar, Jeep Invasions, traveling with his family and cooking.

 Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Belle Bragg Stennett, grandson, Cameron Taylor and one brother, Carl Ronnie Stennett.

 Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Rick Key and wife Tina of Nimitz with whom Tommy made his home; their three children, Jessica Mills and companion Lee Bragg, Jordan Taylor and wife Alexis and Krystina Key Eye and husband Charlie; great grandchildren, Jada Mills, Carson Coffman, Payton, Caleb, and Wyatt Eye, Jaxon and Malachi Taylor and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday December 28, 2024, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Justin Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 10:30 until service time on Saturday at the funeral parlors. 

 Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
