Venus Mann

Venus C. Mann, 82, of Hilldale, died Saturday morning, December 11, 2004 at his home, following a long illness. Born November 21, 1922 at Lindside, in Monroe Co., he was a son of the late William Esten and Beulah M. Naugle Mann. Mr. Mann had lived most of his life in Summers Co., he was an Army Veteran of WWII, a retired T.V. Repairman having worked at Jimmy?s TV in Hinton for more than 40 years. Preceded in death by one grandson, Nicholas Mann and several brothers and sisters. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Emily D. Toney Mann at home, two sons; Ben Mann and wife Lavonne of Darien IL and John Gilbert Mann and wife Teresa of Hilldale, three daughters; Patricia Waddell and husband Ronald of Peterstown, Regina C. Fox of Pence Springs and Kay Clarkson and husband Leonard of Cedar Bluff, VA, one sister, Glenna ?Frankie? Boone of Hilldale, ten grandchildren; Sherry Shelton, Carey Clarkson, Scott, Cristy, Eric, Arielle and Cameron Mann, Jonathan Fox, Teresa Cyrus and Michelle Christen and nine great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Eddie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral parlor from 6-8 P.M. Monday.
