Virginia Lowe

Virginia Ruth Lowe, 87 of Nimitz, died Sunday morning at her home, following a long illness. Born April 22, 1917 at Streeter, she was a daughter of the late Howard A. and Opal Harvey Vest. Mrs. Lowe was a member of the Greenbrier Primative Baptist Church at Hilldale a retired U.S. Mail Carrier and a lifelong resident of Summers Co. Preceded in death by her husband Webster Paul Lowe, one son, Charles David Lowe and one brother, Carl Vest. Survived by one son, Zane Lowe of Jumping Branch, one granddaughter, Toni Hall and husband Michael of Hinton, two great grandsons, Aaron Michael and Jason Allan Hall and two sisters, Mary Belle Vest Lilly and husband Edward of Nimitz and Linda Lou Martin and husband David of Kent, OH. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel at Hinton with Elder M.B. Wills officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Pallbearers: Howard Vest, Eddie Lilly, Danny Martin, Aaron Hall, Carl Martin, Jack Vest and Clyde Lee Vest.
