Virginia Plumley

Virginia R. Whittaker Plumley, 83, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Raleigh Center in Daniels following a long illness.
Born July 20, 1926 at Jumping Branch she was a daughter of the late William ?Will? and Nanny Whittaker and she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Plumley was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Summers Co., member of the Mary Jane Memorial Church, she loved embroidering and spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death her husband, Billy Plumley and by four brothers and three sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, William ?Bill? Pollard and wife Britt of Jumping Branch; one daughter, Patricia C. Underwood of Morgantown; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Elder Tommy Pack officiating. Burial will follow in the Plumley Cemetery at Jumping Branch. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
