Born July 18, 1944, Huntington, WV, he was a son of the late Delbert Warren Walton, Sr. and Golda Kounse Walton.
Retired U. S. Army Veteran of Operation Desert Storm as a First Sgt.
Baptist Faith, enjoyed refinishing furniture and caring for his beloved pets. Loved helping his neighbors in any way he could.
Survived by one daughter, Renee Manning and husband Jeff, of Bedford, VA
one son, Barry Walton and wife Mendy, of Buford, GA grandchildren, Joshua and Ashley Manning, of Bedford, VA; Andrew and Emily Walton, of Buford, GA
one sister, Rose Smith and husband John, of Midlothian, VA; two brothers, John Walton and wife Pat, Wausau, WI; Kenny Walton and wife Norma, of Richmond, VA; one niece and 6 nephews
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 27, 2011 at Pence Springs Community Church with Pastor Roger Persinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery. Friend may call at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors
from 6 to 8 PM Thursday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
