Wilbert Rollyson

Wilbert "Sonny" Rollyson, 73, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a short illness.
Born July 28, 1942 at Braxton County he was a son of the late Vastel and Marvis Stalnaker Rollyson.
Sonny was retired from Invacare Corporation with 35 years of service. He was a member of Rollynsburg Baptist Church and enjoyed attending church functions, playing musical instruments and working on automobiles and televisions.
Those left to cherish his memory include five siblings, Elaine Stump of Brunswick, OH, Marvin Rollyson and wife Eileena of Elyria, OH, Clara Mick and husband Gary of Strange Creek, WV, Steven Rollyson and wife Deborah of Nimitz and Charles L. Rollyson of Hinton. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Rollynsburg Baptist Church with Pastor Dana Stalnaker officiating . Burial will follow in the Lilly Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 2:00 P.M. until time of services Sunday at the church.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
