William David Meador

William David Meador, 76, of Hinton passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Heritage Center in Huntington following a long illness.

Born June 30, 1948 in Hinton he was a son of the late Andrew Jackson Meador and Wilma Bernadean Bauer.

William was a truck driver who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with friends.

Preceded in death by one son, William Troy Meador and four siblings, Roger Lee Meador, J.D. Helm, Kayetta Cannon and Rose Marie Kyle.

Those left to cherish his memory include his six children, Melissa Cyrus, Jeannie Ward, Rebecca Meador and companion Michael Meadows, Lorren Apgar and husband Justin, Brittany Meador Kessel and Brandy Meador; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as seven siblings, Edward Meador and wife Jo, David Cobb and wife Teresa, Samuel Bauer and wife Mimi, John Bauer and wife Lynne, Darlene Cannon, Sandy Best and Sharon Snel.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors & Cremation Care Center and there will be a private family burial at a later date.
