William Fleshman

William P. “Billy Paul” Fleshman, 88, of Barger Springs went home to be with the Lord Thursday January 14, 2021 at Hazard ARH Hospital following a short illness.

Born July 30, 1932 at Mabscott he was the son of the William Elmer and Mary Mozelle Reed Fleshman.  A veteran of the United States Army and a member of Elk Knob Baptist Church.  He was a former timberman and he worked 36 years for General Motors in Parma, OH.  Billy Paul loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who loved playing cards with all his family.  He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Preceded in death by his sister, Ramona Manning.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 60 years, Delma Atkins Fleshman; five children, Coleen Sawyer and husband Russ of Brunswick, OH, Debby Fasciana and husband Angelo of Avon, OH, Stan Fleshman and wife Lori of North Royalton, OH, Dale Fleshman and wife Kathy of Cleveland, OH, and Joyce Ward and husband Jimmy of White Sulphur Springs; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and his beloved dog, Spankey.

For the safety of the family and community funeral services will be private with Pastor John Boothe officiating.
