William James "Bill" LaNier

     William James “Bill” LaNier, 77, of Pence Springs went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a sudden illness.

     Born August 18, 1946 at Burgaw, NC he was a son of the late Luther and Lacy Wells LaNier.

     Bill was a carpenter. He loved vegetable and flower gardening, the outdoors, fishing and spending time with his family.

     Bill was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Thomas Howe, Betty Baxley and Hilda LaNier.

     Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Rochelle Argoudelis and husband Jim; one son, Darren LaNier and wife Sharon Fox; two grandchildren, Shelley LaNier and Gavin LaNier; one sister, Linda Bradsher; close cousin, Coy Rivenbark and close friend, Barbara Arnold.

     There will be no services at this time and at Bill’s request his body will be cremated.
