Wilma Bauer

Wilma Bernadean Bauer, 83, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord, Friday, January 11, 2013 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness.
Born November 28, 1929 at Pipestem she was a daughter of the late Samuel F. and Carrie Ellen Knight.
Mrs. Bauer was a homemaker and caregiver and had lived most of her life in Summers County. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed caring for others and shopping. She will always be remembered as an adoring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Mrs. Bauer was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Bauer; one son, Roger L. Meador; one daughter, Kayetta Cannon; one grandson, Zane L Mills II; two sisters, Ivy Dale Mize and Shirley Caruthers and one brother William ?Billy? Knight.
Those left to cherish her memory include Edward Meador and wife Jo of Washington state, John Bauer and wife Lynne of Hinton, Darlene Cannon and companion Tim Sooley of Hinton, Samuel Bauer and wife MiMi of Florida, RoseMarie Kyle and husband Robbie of Alabama, David Cobb and wife Teresa of Georgia, William Meador of Hinton and Joseph Helm of Hinton. Twenty two grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellison Cemetery at Pipestem. Friends may call from
6-8 PM at the funeral parlors on Tuesday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
