Wintfred B. ?Pete? Cook, Jr., 52, of 495 Stokes Dr., Hinton, died Thursday morning at his home, following a long illness. Born November 12, 1952 at Mullins, West Virginia he was the son of the late Wintfred B. Cook Sr. and Demia Lou Dixon Cook. Pete is survived by his wife of 29 years Gaye M. Bennett Cook of Hinton, one son, Wintfred B. Cook III and wife Cori of Sandstone, one grandson Gavin Wintfred Cook, one brother Sammy Cook of Hinton and three sisters Alice Waycaster of Michigan, Betty Ballard of North Carolina and Shirley Flaim of Mullins, West Virginia. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor chapel with Pastor Eddie Wills officiating. There will be no visitation.
