Woodrow ?Woody? Quesenberry, 93, of Hinton died Friday, August 27, 2010 at his home.
Born February 11, 1917 at Marlinton, he was the son of late Elsie Mae Quesenberry. He retired as Maintenance Supervisor from the Greenbrier, loved hunting, fishing and digging ginseng. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Cox Quesenberry; daughter, Rosie Helen Kober and several brothers and sisters.
Survived by one grandson, Johnny Cox of New River Road, Hinton; four great grandchildren, John Raymond Cox Jr., Albert Lee Cox, Jamie LeeAnn Cox and Mary Ellen Cox; five great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Howard and Kalen Helton of Hinton, Leslie and Patricia Weikle of Hinton, Bo and Danny Berry and Brenda Meadows.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery at Powley?s Creek. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 2:00 P.M. until service time on Monday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
