Yolanda Sue Meadows, 26, of Hinton died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at home following a sudden illness.
Born December 1, 1984 in Ronceverte, WV she was the daughter of Michael W. Meadows Sr. and Debbie L. Bailey Meadows of Streeter.
Preceded in death by one brother, Michael Wayne ?Bear? Meadows II; maternal grandfather, James Bailey and her paternal step-grandfather, Roy Sears.
Besides her parents she is survived by her son, Anthony Scrogham Jr. of Hinton; companion, Anthony Scrogham of Hinton; one brother, Jesse Meadows of Streeter; maternal grandmother, Shelby Bailey of Nimitz; paternal grandmother, Berlin Sears of Greenbrier Co.; uncle and aunt, Denny and Lisa Wills of Nimitz and several cousins and family whom she loved.
Yolanda was employed by the Hinton Dairy Queen and she loved to read, write, draw all types of artwork and listen to music but most of all she cherished each moment she spent with her son and family.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Don Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in the Huffman Cemetery at Buck. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
