Zelpha Rader ?Jessie? Gill Holland Cooper, 83, of Sandstone, entered into rest Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at her home, following a short illness.
Born February 24, 1929 at Glade, she was the daughter of the late Frank C. and Sarah Hale Rader.
She was a former cook for many local restaurants and was well known for her biscuits and brown gravy. She attended the Sandstone Baptist Church and Lick Creek Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Otis Gill, her second husband Robert Holland, one sister Deloris Casto and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by her husband, Gary ?Bud? Cooper of Sandstone, three daughters; Shirley Sampson and her companion Hayward Cales whom she loved as her son, of Sandstone, Patricia Ralbusky and husband Roger of Ravena, OH and Dinah Palmer and husband Glenn of Meadow Creek, four sons; Larry Gill and wife Sharon of Nimitz, Ivan Gill and wife Becky of Hinton, Steve Gill of Nimitz and Weldon Gill and wife Sherrie of Rupert, one Sister, Lena Belle Richmond of Hix and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren whom she dearly loved.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Andy Sampson, Bob Meadows and Joey Gill officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery at Hix. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-8 P.M. Friday.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
